Private one on one lessons

At Blazing Trails K9 Academy, we offer expert dog training services that are designed to help dogs of all breeds and ages become well-behaved and obedient companions. We use positive reinforcement techniques to teach dogs new skills and correct unwanted behaviors.

This is where we shine. Our private lessons are offered in both in person and virtual formats. We are skilled at teaching people all over the country in a live virtual format, and we can work with you either in your home, virtually, in person or a hybrid of both. Our flexible private programs are designed with your individual issues in mind. That's why our free phone consult is so important, we customize and design our entire program around YOUR needs. We will listen to what you are doing and make the best recommendation for a program that will fit you best! 

We understand that every dog is unique, which is why we offer individualized training plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each dog and their owner. Our trainers work closely with you to develop a training plan that works for you and your dog .We start with our Free No Obligation Phone Consult so we can get to know what your specific goals are, what your dog actually needs, and can suggest the best program. We can then send you an individual program quote best tailored to what you need.

We offer two main programs for private lessons. Both programs include our "trainer in your pocket" Marco Polo support - so help is never more tan a video message away. Every new client starts with a free 20 minute phone consultation. 

Build the Skills that make everything else possible!

Best for: 

Dogs working on basic obedience manners, and mild behavior challenges. Great for newly adopted dogs or owners who want a solid starting point. 

Includes: 

• 2 one hour private lessons per month (in person, virtual, or both) 

• Our custom "trainer in your pocket" program - offering unlimited virtual support in between each lesson!

• 1 group class visit included

• Written support - homework and custom training plans

• Free 20 min phone consult to get started 

• Access to maintain programs

 We recommend you work with your dog 20-30 minutes per day, and we are here to support you through the entire process!

Best suited for those who need 1-2 minor behavior issues or a couple of obedience cues. This is best for dogs who have some foundational obedience and just need some problem solving or want to increase their dogs obedience skills. 

Best For: 

Dogs with significant behavior challenges - reactivity, anxiety, fear, aggression etc - or multi dog households, as well as new puppies and anyone who wants the most comprehensive training experience!

Includes: 

• 2 - one hour private lessons per month (in person or virtual or both) 

• Our "Trainer In Your Pocket" program -  this gives you unlimited virtual support in between each lessons

• Two visits to our drop in group class for practice in more distractions

• Written support  homework and custom training plans

• Priority scheduling and our deepest ongoing support available 

• Immediate Access to all our VIP maintenance programs! 

We recommend you work with your dog 20-30 minutes per day, and we will support you through the whole process. This package is best for dogs who need basic obedience and manners in the home or who have 2-3 basic problem solving issues or one more advanced behavior issue. 

Our private lesson programs are Monthly Subscriptions - not one and done packages. That means consistent sessions, continuous support through our "trainer in your pocket program",(that means your trainer stays involved every day, not just on lesson days), and a training relationship that actually sticks!
